Limitless

Limitless

A Poem by TheJordBaker

'As long as I'm human I will dream.

As long as I'm alive I am limitless.

Dreams are possibilities'.

Keep The Faith

Wake up to lights of coral tint,
unstrung mind in replete abyss.
He knows there’s more to life than this;
crying from tearless eyes and fighting thin
so he runs the shores and scars his skin,
and opens the door to let God in.
Rebirth of one so delicate and felled
into a robust revolt as life propels.
He lets the timing make him well.

Destroying body with smoke and pleasure,
through limitless life and seeking treasures
making marvel from paper and letters.
On each fine day the sun comes out,
as his boundless eyes come around.
He’ll fight till his bones fall to the ground.
He abides and lives harmonic hymn,
he opened up to chance and dream
and lets the heavens make plans for him.

I waited a while before I came back to your page and catch up because I was still touched by your review…and while I know it won’t make me say things I don’t mean…I never want you to doubt what I say…I always say what I honestly think! JB! When I read this the first thing I thought was “how is it that the writer of this would ever wish he had written something of mine” and I’ll admit it sounds like I have self-esteem issues. I promise I don’t…I proud of what I write.
“so he runs the shores and scars his skin,
and opens the door to let God in.”
You were born to write of this I am sure and it’s incredible that I get to read your stuff…that I get to comment and that you care what people say…this poem is incredible
“he opened up to chance and dream
and lets the heavens make plans for him.”
My brother and his friends always say ‘live free and prosper’ to each other…this is a live free, die free and always prosper!

No problem. ^^
damn, this is a good piece of writing...

all that we partake in here on earth is nothing compared to what we prepare for when this mortal coil is shaken off...

there has to be something afterward...i think something much like Eden was before the fall.

nicely written piece..."runs the shores and scars the skin" really like that line.
