Skyscraper Jump

Skyscraper Jump

A Poem by TheLastEclipse

I ran and I ran and ran and ran and ran
Until the ground met and end.
I was stuck amidst the middle of the air
And all I could do was fall in prayer.
You see even if I didn’t see the edge
I still made the choice to leap from the ledge.
I have never been so frightened
As when I was falling
And now I have been left in awe.
I am falling downward
And I see it coming fast.
I am coming to an end!
I have no barriers or boundaries.
I am still seeking- I am seeking-
Oh, I always seem to forget.
Never- No, never! Will I want what I get!
They say that it is the same
And either what that I am the body to blame!
I have never been so frightened
And I am always fighting
And I will never fall face first.
They will see me sky diving
Without a parachute
I wish you had not moved
Be-cause
Now, I
Have landed on the ground
Now that
You have
Moved I hit the ground.
I am
Nor are
You anything to rely on.
I am so frightened.
So I will stop fighting!
And sadly I killed myself, not you.
But in the end... We knew that is what I would do.
