Guardian Angel

Guardian Angel

A Poem by Mark Daniels

I'm sick of feeling pain,
I'm tired of seeing tears.
I know I'm not near perfect,
But i know none of you are better, nowhere near.

Why am I the hated one,
Why am I always the victim?
It's always me they're picking on,
I am really getting sick of them.

I'm starting to lose my battles,
I am starting to lose the war.
I'm already losing my mind,
I just can't take it anymore.

I need my Guardian Angel,
I want a safe haven.
Please keep me safe from harm and danger,
And show me the love i've been craving.

Without my guardian angel,
I'm nothing but a joke.
I am slowly losing my world,
My life of happiness is a hoax.

I'm afraid if no one helps me,
I may not be here much longer.
And if my guardian angel, I do not see,
"Will you remember me?" is what i shall ponder.
