3 Short Emotion Verses

3 Short Emotion Verses

A Poem by Mark Daniels
"

these are three short poems using nothing but imagerys.

"
CALM
Gentle breeze upon my face
birds chirping happily
laying in a field so peaceful
clear my mind of everything
deep breaths.
stillness.

ANGER
Fists clenched, nostrils flared
broken knuckles against walls of brick
seeing red, heart beating fast
animal instincts wanting to kill
Adrenaline, not blood in my veins
Pain.

DEPRESSION
Nothing left in this life for me,
take a deep breath and i'll be free.
hands shaking, tears flowing. Regret.
"I'm Sorry." bright red against the mirror
Cold. Nothingness' embrace.

This is very good. You've described these three emotions perfectly; the reader can almost see each one. I can't understand why you haven't gotten any reviews. Well, I guess you didn't ask for any. Until now.
