HIGHLANDER

The untamable beast
run unrestrained
desecrating holy ground
Imposing speech
towers over meek
brood eclipsing the sun

Like the king cobra
flashing its forky parlance
Record breaking strike
incapacitating its patsy

But all I dared to asked
was one simple chair
not a kings throne

Yet the mongoose in me
spoke sage words
upholding highlander's creed ...
