Cosmic

Cosmic

A Poem by t.m.

You carry the weight

of the world,

still every day,

you wake.

You spend your time

trying to change

the fate's design,

even if you don't mean to.

I watch, sometimes, and

when the sun shines right,

I see the universe

in your eyes.

I could count the stars

if you'd let me close enough.

I wish all of those planets,

all of those wishes

flying through the sky,

could show you

what I see.

Thank you! I haven't yet had the chance, but maybe someday.
This is a great poem. It doesn't suck. It can be hard to let people get close.
