Man

Man

A Poem by Shaun

Man

Akin to everything that stands on earth,

Man

Doesn't have a plan from time of birth

Man

Doesn't own the land or own its worth

Man

Has only his hands with the world to serve

So with man gone,
Will there be hope for ape?
Will we breed
Our rueful escape.

We'll bind their hands
And turn them into sand.
With ape gone,
Will there be hope for man?
