So It Goes

So It Goes

A Poem by Edward

It’s been a long time since words have flown from my mind,

Where they fly on the page, then printed and signed.

It’s been hard to try and break down the brick and mortar wall within myself,

In fact it’s been sealed for so long, it’s like a book collecting dust on the shelf.

It hasn't been easy, certainly not fun,

I guess life can still suck under the sun.

Looking at this profile is like opening an aging crypt,

It's walls are cracked and badly chipped.

Life's pilled up and the bombs blew,

The clock keeps ticking, right on cue.

I swear I never ran around the room yelling pewpew,

We are the same, but yet we equal two.

Time to light the sparks, it's time to get my mind hazed and back on track,

I'm someone who has everyone else's back, but can't even get my mind back on track.
