Ballad of a Killer

Ballad of a Killer

A Poem by Daniel Hebert
"

To understand the minds of the sick and demented, one must peer into them.

"

all has been perfect in my life

now that i look behind

all has been Normal throughout my life

Xept 4 the Things in my mind

the children play in the green grass

the animals frolic about

there is joy in the air, that i can swear,

but all I feel is left out

for in my mind, darker Things

are beginning to come into view

darker Things to which i can relate

that can help me have fun, too

the children no longer run through the fields

the animals no longer play

the green grass is dyed with a dark shade of red

i have had Fun today

that "but" turns the whole feeling around, it's like innocence's first encounter with sex.

LOVE IT! Very creepy. Some grammar and spelling errors but its obvious that they were intentional. I like the effect that they give visually and psychologically since you are talking about the mind of a killer. Great job!

Its the instinct of the predator. It looks for the weak and the sick in the herd.

Hello Daniel,

Sadisticly cheerful like a man who is in need of a companion and finds her coming out of a store. She may not really understand why she was perfect, but she was. Now she dances in a pool of s**t piss and cum as I sit back and enjoy a cigarette.

Always,

Matthew
A.
