Luminary

Luminary

A Poem by Chaos Stone
"

Our Earth's future.

"

Sorrow I suffer so long, dead gone, under blazing super giant sun

All consuming, pyretic pressure sense, melting horizon

Withering, beneath an unrelenting, solar furnace stare

Her eternal burning heart, scorching flesh, with a prominence flair

Thermonuclear fusion fuels, her plasma fire glow

Release this Atlas burden, bestow the world, Sol’s raging inferno
