A Heart's Seasons

A Heart's Seasons

A Chapter by Seamstress
"

The circle of life within a single relationship. Now a new spring appears but tis a different spring and the emotions are held in check.

"
I remember the spring.
When it was all so new.
The smiles, the joy,
three words slipped in.
The blossoms of hope,
the tripping brooks of faith,
the growth of love
is all we knew.

Then the summer came.
Our love strong together.
The passion, the love,
three words screamed about.
Blossoms of hope now full,
Faith's tripping brooks now steady,
the steady and strong love
is all there was.

Now the autumn falls.
Our love tested and torn.
Questions abound, love hurting,
three words needed yet painful.
The blooms fall from the trees,
The tripping brook begins to struggle,
the love ached for yet pulled apart.
Is all there is.

Winter threatens to devour.
Love blinded by everything.
hearts broken, souls aching,
three words craved for.
The blooms dead on the ground,
the tripping brook frozen in place.
shattered hearts scattered about.
Hope forever dead.
