Our Love

Written for such a special man years ago and the feelings are still there.

Tis almost a year since we first whispered the words,
The three little words that mean so much.
The words of love from one to another.

I had dreamed of one like you,
One of strength and mind,
One of honesty and heart.

We’ve lived this year together,
In heart, mind and soul.
Loving each other completely.

Now though our loves still strong,
We accept that the timing is off
So this vow I shall make to you.

In my life I shall live strong,
Head held high and proud I’ll be
Of the woman there is coming out of me.

As to love I know this to be true,
I shall let God guide me to His will.
Though I ask one thing of you,

If the time has passed
And God has guided us to no others
Consider the love we already share.
