Ice

Ice

A Poem by Awaken the Sleepwalker

Your hand on my wrist
Like barbed wire on my heart
Each move more painful than the last
Arguing screams echo in my head
It's obviously my fault
That's why you're always laying your hands on me
Not laying, thrusting
I'm desperately searching for you. No YOU
The barbed wire
Cannot penatrate my heart any longer
It is ice and ice only chips
leaving your own hands bloodied
