Finding My Way

Arising from the ashes,
soaring towards the sky
Her past left to burn,
No tears left to cry.

 

She searches for him,
amid the glittering stars
the one who guided her,
who loved her from afar.

 

He watches her climb
his arms opening wide,
lighting the path for her, 
calling her to his side.

 

Into his embrace she flies,
the fire and the light combine
a sight for the gods
as two celestial beings entwine.

 

She is his phoenix
he is her guiding light
together forever
clasped always in flight.

Author's Note

It's a work in progress...the meter seems off, and some places jsut doesnt flow like I want, but its an attempt to get the bare bones down of what i want to say...feel free to comment
