Air like a Feather

Air like a Feather

A Poem by Daisy Morgy
"

Just something that came to mind as i cant speak at the moment due to having bronchitus :) (i thin thats how you spell it :L)

"
Air like a feather
Flows out from my lips.
Mocking and taunting
As it twirls and twists
Its almost angelic
Dancing through the room
But the silence lays as a reminder

That it can never be heard.

Dorment on my tongue
The words lay asleep
Writhing in aggitation
Begging for release
But no matter how many times
I desperetly try
 The words are left alone

 To silently cry

To have words floating around the mind and to not be able to voice them must be a terribly frustrating situation. I hope you are able to talk again soon and that whatever the cause of your silence, it is not permanent. This was well written. Lydi**

The first half of the poem seems to convey frustration, while the latter gives a sense of heartbreaking desperation.

Beautifully written even when you can't talk. Also, lovely layout! Hope you are better. :-)

Loved this! The layout just looks right to the eye and the way you use the inability to speak as a metaphor for those without a voice is brilliant.

This is just so lovely written. I vividly imagined everything you've written and the end felt so heartbreaking (and a little bit frustrating). It must be so hard to not be able to speak. Please get well soon. This is a wonderful write. :)

Well at least something positive has came about through being laid low with bronchitis! I hope you have gotten rid of it by the time you read this review!!

A piece of metaphoric magic about a nasty affliction !
