My Triump

My Triump

A Poem by The_Last_Spartan
"

A poem I wrote for the Anti-Bullying campaign at my school.

"

I never thought that it would end,

The self-hatred I kept in,

Afraid of what there was to come,

In an endless spiral I sunk,

Deeper and deeper until choked,

That’s how it felt to be under your wing.

You made me think I was alone,

With nowhere to turn.

That I was a worthless human being,

That everyone was better off if I was six feet deep.

But I was lucky.

I did something you cannot.

I overcame your fears, I fought.

And I came out on top.

I agree with this poem alot- Being an unpopular teen myself. It says alot of how powerless and the pain of being alone. I like it :)

About
I hate these types of things; you know the: "DESCRIBE YOURSELF" thing. I always have trouble really trying to explain what kind of person I am. I guess I never really know, we never really know our tr.. more..
