Born Again

Born Again

A Poem by iNSOMniAC
"

Just a random ironic poem that I thought up in ten minutes... I know it stinks, but I kept the idea because I like the irony in there. (If you see the catch, I'll reward you with a virtual puppy)

"

There once was a girl who couldn’t breathe air

So she was tied to the bottom of the sea

She had drowned in her own sorrow, in her own pain

And she didn’t have the heart to plead

There once was a boy who couldn’t swallow

So he was banished to the sky

He almost made it to the stars, up to the heavens

But he didn’t have the courage to try

Ooh, when the sky fell from his arms

The clouds touched the maiden and filled her lungs

She breathed the regret that had taken over

And she was born again

Ooh, when the ocean jumped up high

It reached the sky, and pulled the man down

He swallowed the guilt that she once had

And he was born again
