March on Wounded Soldier

March on Wounded Soldier

A Poem by The Creation
"

I apologize in advanced for those who may find this a bit offensive or non-patriotic.

"

March on wounded soldier,

Tread forward to your end,

Though death has passed for the moment,

Your role is yet to be completed,

Obey their voices,

Their orders,

Their curses,

They compel you to die in their place,

As they sit back and watch,

Their hypocritical campaign for peace,

Your brothers have passed on,

But you remain,

Alone you fight a war,

They themselves had started,

But is it all but in vain,

Will your death assure that another will live?

For in the end we will all die,

So why do you sacrifice yourself?

Maybe for you tomorrow will bring a new dawn,

But for those who remain,

It will bring mourning for the lost,

Take up your pride wounded soldier,

For that is all you have left,

And march on to a glorious death,

Endure all you must,

To end,

This WAR FOR PEACE.
