Raindrops

Raindrops

A Poem by Alexa Aiden

The raindrops

afraid to take flight

shivering in the grey

the clouds try to shake them loose

but stubborn are they,

they will not break away

Peculiar is he, the one raindrop who chose to obey

he fell on top of a mans head, but no more raindrops were heard of that day.

Ha very interesting/ creative. I love when it rains. Great imagery.

The way that the lines get longer as the poem goes on makes it seem like the scene is slowly getting less tense. Good rhythm. A thought- provoking poem!

i dont know if this was your intention when writing this, but it reminds me of when soldiers have to jump from airplanes. a lot of them arent brave enough to do it until one finaly decides to step up. that probably wasnt your intention, but its great how you can make the poem seem like it can stand for more things than what it actually stand for. nice work, i like it.
