Lone WolfA Poem by TheLoveAnomaly/SuicideConcertoMy Journey
Lone Wolf
I walk alone beneath the moonlit sky, A shadow in the night, no one asks why. Though once I sought the warmth of pack and kin, The world I faced was cold, and I gave in. Desire burns, but now I see it clear" The price of closeness is too steep to bear. Betrayal hides in every whispered breath, So I embrace the solitude, the death. A monster forged from pain and bitter truth, I shed the innocence I knew in youth. My heart, now hardened, beats to its own song, In darkness, I have learned where I belong. Yet still, I thrive, though loneliness is cold, The strength within is worth more than gold. For I am wolf, untamed, and running free, No chain can bind the beast inside of me. Though closeness calls, I turn a hardened face, For I know well the cost of love’s embrace. A monster, yes"but thriving in the night, Alone, I conquer, fueled by endless fight. © 2024 TheLoveAnomaly/SuicideConcerto |
