Could've Sworn

Could've Sworn

A Poem by TheHumbledChild

I could've sworn she was in love
You'd figure the same thing
The way she'd open up too me
Or how'll she'll say she loves me
I could've sworn that it was real
Until I blinked it was merely a dream
I was just Cupids' experiment for her
Until she found the right thing
I could've sworn she was in love
But now I know I was just being stupid
For her too try and live with me now the thought just sounds naive
Because if it were true then why did she leave
She just wants to be my friend nothing more nothing less
I could've sworn she was just in love..

I should've made another guess
