Notebook.

Notebook.

A Poem by L.E.Osborne
"

Just a fun little poem.

"
Look inside my notebook,
I've got cures for all that ails.
I've got wizards who wander
pirate ships without sails.
You'll find trapdoors and treasures,
for quaint little hearts.
Turn through pages and pages,
of magical starts.
Nothing tragic or woeful,
has happened in here.
No heart has been broken,
Nor have eyes shed a tear.
Only love in my notebook,
made of fiction and folly.
made of paperback giants
always cheerful or jolly.
The most precious adventures,
that never went on.
My most wonderful dreams
I've yet to wake from.
All this and more,
is scribbled inside.
So please do take a look,
I've got nothing to hide.

Hello, L! :)
I like your notebook, and I really like your "paperback giants". I had a notebook that I used to draw in during high school algebra classes. I really should have paid more attention to those lessons. Haha
Thanks for sharing.

Thank you M for this! Yeah i was always getting in trouble for doodling in lessons!
Nicely rhymed piece. Perhaps we all need a notebook such as this one. It sounds like a nice place to retreat to when the going gets tough.
