Cloud of Pink Smoke.

Cloud of Pink Smoke.

A Poem by Beatrice Mars

Stale coffee
And tropical island
Dreams
Have me crying
For you,
Friendship in a bleak haze
Of happiness.

No sleep and
A bad phone number
Have me pining
for her, pink hair and
A bellybutton ring
In a haze of last night.

Sweet perfume,
The scent of chocolate
And expensive
Cigarettes
Have me longing for
A dream of
Myself not quite
Realised.

Cloud of pink smoke, spirit me away from this unfamiliar room and the bright dawn morning.
