Domestic Bliss

Domestic Bliss

A Poem by C Peril

We were married by church bells
But worn down by a Greater God
that came before
The red sea is swelling in the glass;
Moses cannot part this
Pungent aromas light the tongue
There is fire in my eyes,
burning with domestic aggression

I am sorry
