Dove Rushes

Dove Rushes

A Poem by C Peril

Be wary of spring's dove rushes
Feathers fresh and fragrant
in the nose of the pious, the devoted
Oh, an allure
It's not like a new two wouldn't be welcome
But best to ensure that melodrama
is not the bounty, the crop
ripe for harvest through the haze
Beyond the paradise, the Poetry
