Reminders

Reminders

A Poem by Threads
"

Ever had that nagging feeling that you never did something?

"

An entry in a book

A token in a nook

A tale for another time

An ardour of another line

Yet it (is) dug in

Entrenched

Burrowed

Hidden in plain sight

The unnoticed morning light

But it is not, forgot

I left myself reminders

So it is not, to drop

I beg myself, linger

It is here to remind

In times of joy

It is here to remain

In times of wonder

It is the cloud in the clear

The stain in the clean clothes

-Still-

-Nagging-

-Goading-

-Stirring-

TO ACTION

the passions of the heart

burning embers of the soul

I know this feeling so well. I love how you started this poem and you can feel the urgency to remember. I loved "It is the cloud in the clear
The stain in the clean clothes" Really nice.
