Five

Five

A Poem by Crifa

Five, five what a lovely number,
Five, oh five, together all summer.
A number full of love and joy,
A number I've known since a little boy.

I love you five, you are my whole world,
Though hid behind a fist knurled.
I didn't mean the battles and fights,
Five is my number; what I thought was my right.

Although, this five...has broken,
It's shattered; it's cracked.
And so-is this heart of mine,
But five still wont come back.

Five wasn't just mine to keep all along,
Five was just temporary-I guess I was wrong.
