Silent Love

Silent Love

A Poem by Tian

" I close my eyes and the world drops dead. I think I made him up inside my head " -- Sylvia Plath

Reborn, I tried again

To soar through the bright skies

to gain what was lost.

So I stood in my rightful place,

Next to you,

And start, my silent love.

I stood next to you;

So close, yet so far.

When can I ever catch up?

But don’t fear and stand close.

Hold your smile

And continue, my silent love.

I stood near to you;

Our shadows, refusing to intertwine.

Why am I a puppet of love?

But continue and follow on.

Hold your heart

And keep it in, my silent love.

Left behind, I realise

I was trying to take flight

with broken wings.

Stranded away, ostracized

Left by you,

And suffer from, my silent love.

I SO can relate t trying to fly with broken wings. There is nothing quite like the alienation that you feel when the rest of the world moves on without you. Stay strong, you're silent love won't give you broken wings forever.
