Christmas Day

Christmas Day

A Poem by Tina Kline

Gazing outside to witness
the snow falling
endless feathery white flakes
gathering silently
creating a White Christmas

Christmas music playing
the excited laughter of children
as they open their presents
family and friends gathered together
sharing gifts with one another
gifts given in love and caring

Turning from the window
seeing everyone happy and having fun
enjoying each others company
on this very special day
when love reigns supreme
in honor of Jesus' sacrifice
for all God's children

The snow continues to fall
laughter and love fill the air
warmth in the season of cold
this kind of special magic
will never grow old
