Beasts, The

Beasts, The

A Poem by Tina Kline
"

Blood hunger is riding high.

"
High into the night sky the blood moon rising
In the darkness they are no longer hiding
Blood thirsty fangs aching to bite
No longer holding them is the night

Hear their appalling bloodthirsty cries
The night now moans and painfully sighs
Something wicked is on its way
This night life is the price some will pay

Hear their terrible hungry howls
Something deadly is on the prowl
Night is no longer a place of peace
From the dark come the starving beasts
