Mr. Imaginary Man

Mr. Imaginary Man

A Poem by Titan

Sweep me away and flip me over,

loosen my necktie,

unbuckle my shoe.

Spin me senseless with your fleeting breath,

whirl me around

with words unspoken.

Reveal yourself Mr. Imaginary Man.

My heart shrieks for you with grim desperation.

Make yourself known

and whisk me away,

for one lonely day will leave my world in shambles.

I wait for you.

Every day.

With a longing incomparable to anything

  earthly.

Throughout the pain my face remains dry.

(Tears malfunction with overuse.)

Reveal yourself.
