sparkling cider in your eyes

sparkling cider in your eyes

A Poem by Titan

My hand brushed your smooth fingertips.

I wanted you to notice me.

Your brown eyes widened

but you didn’t ask

    you’re afraid of the answer.

I’m left disregarded,

I’m left feeling undefined.

Nothing’s new,

again I’m unnoticed.

Sparkling cider in your eyes

that twinkling face is your disguise

you know my soul is yours to take

  I wait and wait,

you run and hide.
