Stulto

Stulto

A Poem by misfit_joker
"

The name Latin meaning "the fool".

"

I stare effortlessly at the stars

Pondering how they shine true

But my mind wonders astray

Innocent at first glance

But it cuts like a knife

I do not wish to harm

Yet the intent is there

I curse my name, Stulto

For it is the very essence I am

A man who hath such a rose

Deserves less that of a mule

I plead my breath to stay

For I realize how easily it can slip away

And just how vital it is for each day

About
I simply want to share a little bit of my world and bring it to yours. I do not believe in sticking with one general genre of writing because it limits the possibilities. Please enjoy more..
