When the Sun Is A Weathercaster

When the Sun Is A Weathercaster

A Poem by Tomás Ó Cárthaigh
"

The sun tells way more than just the weather

"

When the Sun Is A Weathercaster

Half set, the sun, at death of day
Fills the sky with the red of blood
The colour of life of a tomorrow splendid
As the farmer said it would
As if a fortune teller the future foretelling

Half risen, the sun at death of night
Fills the sky with red of blood
Allbeit paler, tells of a day of rain
Not of sun, like the day should
The weather of the day the sun is telling.

This is great. It makes the reader enjoy a new outlook of something so familiar, plus the imagery played a greatppiece of film in the readers mind. Well done, I loved this piece.

Wonderful poem here as the sky paints the forecast for the next day's rain. What beauty comes to mind. Very enjoyable!
