Bubbles

Bubbles

A Poem by Tony Jordan
"

Luv my wee bubbles...

"
I don't know who ran it

- never heard
the water punch
the air
in my ears

- I imagine mystic
taps vommed
stuttering helix

I can't recall how
I got naked but
The coldness
enveloped me

I was laid vertical

Now ~

Bubbles pop
and fizzle;

air rushes in
to fill the void
(nature abhors a vacuum)
- cooling the surface

I am slowly submerging
into this
warm bath of
introspection

cleaning...

purging...

degloving

This could have double meanings or so I have interpreted it to be as such 😉
I think there are layers to be deciphered in this writing of yours Tony! All is not what it seems 😉
Interesting read ☺

LOL...your layout is fine. The nice thing about poetic license it can be anything you want it to be. This is lovely...LOL...and eloquently misleading. Nicely done. 100 daisies for you.

I think what you are talking about is/are the introverted thoughts one has given visual sense. I can see someone swimming or rather floating in a tank of bubbles rather like an escapologist fighting to get out of Houdini's water trap. The thoughts being the bubbles. I could be way out but this is one of the ways I read it.
Of course it could be how to poach an egg from the eggs point of view.

Top Waffler Lol. Sounds like a character from either Woodhouse or Hardy. Except I hate Txt Spk.
a cool, calming write. relaxing. at first, thought it was flatulence, but turned out to be just a bath. although passing gas to make bubbles & deep thinking do have many similarities. nice jacuzzi jargon where lots of deep thinking indeed takes place. great to unwind. :)

Tony, surely this is not about an egg being poached? "I was laid vertical" that line is so intriguing. That coupled with the nakedness...well, perhaps a bit sensual? Truly, you have me stumped. Sorry. Lydi**

Have no idea what this is really about.
However, if I "got naked" and "was laid vertical," I would probably have to consider it a good time. So, even though the bubbles are likely metaphorical, we'll make them champagne effervescence--just to add a little class to this "review."
Your "introspection" is properly obscure, Tony, and quite poetic.
