It might be said that love is an overused word; 'love the look of that dress,' 'love chocolate,' etc, etc.

But that is perhaps not to understand love for what it is; rather than simply a word to describe something that is quite impossible to quantify.

Love must indeed never die, it cannot, for without it, our species would cease to exist.

Beccy.

Hello Tony,

I totally agree.

As long as we are alive, we have hope...

True love never dies...

So true! *Smiles*
You've incorporated a deep truth in this piece, "faith dies, loves doesn't, coz it lasts forever"

Short yet, a very beautiful piece, Thankyou for sharing :)

That is true
Love is stronger than hate
and any force claiming strength
and hope is its mother

Love this piece

Human haiku!
Love will never die, and As long as the love lives hope is there and I want it to be true Tony.
I really and very badly want this statement to be universally true.
Then, what dies is not love at all is the conclusion. It should be so.
Your human haiku has me in that whirlpool of thoughts around love.A great piece linking hope with love.
Thank you for sharing this senryu you, Tony.

Powerful words. I see hope as the denial of all things harmful. It takes away the glee when we must suffer. With love, no one can deny us that. Great stuff Tony. A most enjoyable read!
