Ah but I think she knows you are there. She was an incredible person. If you have ever have the opportunity to read her writings I highly recommend them.

If you add 'a' or another beat to line two and take one from line three you will have yourself a perfect haiku. But then, why am I obsessing...its a very good poem. Who needs to worry about form and stuff? :-)

5-7-5 is the perfect one but the rules have relaxed since my creative writing classes. It's a wonderful and insightful poem as it is.
