What are you?

A chill runs through the room,

Followed by darkness.

The dark, faceless creature

Stares down at me.

 

'What are you?'

One asks.

Scared, cold, and shivering.

The thing puts fear into you.

 

'What are you? A demon?'

You would think that.

But is it true?

A demon or just some creature of the night?

 

You turn on the light,

And the thing disappears from fright.

But what was it?

A demon or a creature you read about in books?

Just boredum. Something that happened to me the other night, scared the mess outta me and I can't get it out of my head O.O

I thinks it's like a mirror manifestation of the minds image of fear. When emotions are rampant in the head before sleep... the inner self awakens many visionary images. Probably just an effect of dealing with some of life's poop.
