First Embrace

First Embrace

A Poem by Trace
"

What happened next from "A Pondering Moon"

"

The sand was warm between their toes
As they held on to each other...

Not wanting this first embrace to ever end

As their lips explored the unknown taste of something new
Until their knees grew weary and they fell together to the beach

And the pondering moon hung low.

Hands that once clung now began to explore
To touch where each had only dreamed of

Haste was the order in which buttons were undone
And clothes that bound were quickly shed
That they could feel the exquisite connection they knew had always existed

Passions controlled their every move
Which felt as natural as the waves that moved the sands

Eager lips found her swelling breasts
Soft hands found the strength of the man she so desired

And a tender moan escaped her smile

This was what they had both waited for

And as she guided him in to her warmth
                                Their lips met again

With a promise under the pondering moon

                           to never part....

Definitely ramped up the sexuality here, but done with beautiful description that imparts their eagerness to be together and complete. Despite the more explicit feeling, there is still a feel of relaxing into this moment rather than rushing through it.

Well this is quite the sequel to the first one, Trace! Sizzling and sensual, your words are so descriptive. You turn the reader into the voyeur here. Excellent work. Lydi**

dear Trace... so tender and sensual... Blooming

caressed by the seaside in moonlight musings of

barring "haste" and "quickly shed", the whole poem felt deliciously languid like small waves, of a calm sea, kissing the shore.
exquisite write, Trace.
