Blue Moon

Blue Moon

A Poem by Trace
"

A poem in honor of the Blue Moon

"

Azure dreams of full moon rising

Wonders of the universe

Images of indigo

High tide phenomenon

Whispers upon the sapphire shores

Cerulean shadows of lovers in the sand

Lunar kisses on soft glowing lips

An understanding of emotion

Crashing together in our hearts

Like the waves upon the ocean

Blue Moon desire thus imparts

I admire that you have drawn the piece together with a stanza that ties the imagery of crashing tides and moons with the reality of your emotional muse. The poignancy of your word choice echoes throughout, and enriches the metaphors you have employed. Fab stuff! Thank you! Willow x

The images you have created are lovely, but more than that I'm drawn in by the softness of your words. Stunning poetry my dear friend.
