Master of Desire

Master of Desire

Master of Desire

Master, oh master, you know what I crave

All I possess, I leave go of

So easy to please, oh make me your slave

Take me; oh take me to your chambers of love

Even as though it is oft what I need

Release me my freedom and make me behave

Of this I do wonder, how could it be so

For all this I ponder, now that I’ve let go,

Desire is strong, my soul is on fire

Even as I know, the power of your touch

So come unto me, your strength I admire

Induce your will, it’s never too much

Remove my innocence, replace with thy greed

Exposed vulnerability for my Master of Desire.

Nicely penned. You really show the power desire has on people. It's hard to control, but good to many of times. Tyfs

This was a challenge to create an acrostic and incorporate the title of the poem in the first word .. read more

well you make it seem so easy to do. Like a serenade knowing just what to say.
