Redundant Gears

Redundant Gears

A Poem by Tracie Skarbo

I look upon the gears within

And look for signs of wear

Oiling those parts that need work

And casting off those

That have become redundant

I inspect this

Which years ago

Would have been

Viewed as an

Itchy unwelcome conundrum

I now know that this mystery

Is just another step that

With time will become

A flower of discovery when the

Time is right

If I am patient and let the Tao

Guide me

All will be revealed

Eventually…

Learning consists of daily accumulating. The practice of the Tao consists of daily diminishing; decreasing and decreasing, until doing nothing. When nothing is done, nothing is left undone. True.. more..
