To A Broken World.

This is a poem to our government.

As we lay here only wishing, 

The world is slowly dying, 

With polluted water, 

And dirty air.

We only say,

What we need to get attention, 

Then once we fill that void, 

Our words seem to come short.

Addicted to the power and greed, 

No compassion for your people, 

Only thirst and hunger, 

No love to be found.

You said you would help us, 

You said you would make this a better place, 

You turned us against you, 

Instead of finding peace within us.

The government suck, and in this poem you express how allot of us are feeling.

yes well that is certainly what it seems like isn't it .. we live in a world of lies, deception, greed and hate ... when will we pass through this phase and return to love. Governments are not what they used to be - it's all about doing and saying the right thing to those with money these days and in the process we are ruining the one thing we need for survival ... our planet ... we need an uprising of the common man to oust all government and start fresh X
