Author's Note

Treo LeGigeo
Gorden Paxter is an Interpol agent on a final pursuit, a last-ditch attempt. For more reasons than just the law, he's after the man behind the biggest name in the continent's underground.

Ice Devlin is a ghost on the files, no more than a figure in smoke despite every attempt to the contrary. But Agent Paxter's latest efforts unearth something new, a gypsy illusionist who disappeared six years earlier. The chase that follows spans past and present, blurs the line between the real and the fantastic, and reveals another world which threatens to overwhelm both men.
