The List

For my love

I dont know the color of your eyes or the length of your hair
I dont know the shape of your face or the cloths you wear
Will you be shy and reserved the day you appear
Or will you smile real wide and act as if you've known me for years

 

When we walk through the park would you cling to me tight
And would you tell me you love me, when we make love at night
So if your out there alone and right now your reading this
Know that I'm waiting for you and I made you this list

 

 1. Forever it will be you before me
    For my heart lies caged and you hold the key

 

 2. I will give you my love and anything else that you need
    just pick out the star and expect it from me

 

 3. No other woman shall call me her own
    The place that you are is the place I'll call home

 

 4. Your troubles are mine and there weight I will bare
    I'll never tune you out and act as if I dont care
 
 5. I'll cherish the day that you take my name
    And give all that I have to keep you from pain

 

 6. I'll support your every word as it were my own
    Then break my back everyday to give you a beautiful home

 

 7. I will comfort you when you cry and wipe away your tears
    Let my love light your life and conquer all your fears

 

 8. Know you'll always be on my mind even when out of sight
    I'll think of you everyday and dream of you every night

 

 9. If ever you are sick I'll serve you in bed
    Bring you medicine and food, put a wet cloth on your head

 

10. No matter your mistake or romantic endeavour
    I promise to forgive and love you forever
