Revolt in the fort of rot

Revolt in the fort of rot

A Poem by Tristan Seth Manwaring
"

This poem is about rebels breaking into a castle and killing the royals. A few manage to escape, but that wont be enought to stop these savages. It's tragic I suppose

"
The Emperor, the Tsar, the King and his kin,
They all tremble from terror of the revolt,
the rebels soon break into their fort of rot,
----------------------------------------------------
The royals now flee for their life,
For the rebels infect wielding their knives,
The Tsar stays to fight off the intruders, oh so savage, like that of Henry Tudor,
Alas, the Tsar was no warrior, he is easily slain,
As he lies dying, there in pain, the king and Emperor flee,
they do not wish to be apart of the killing spree.
They run to the nearest quay, expecting safety and savior,
But when they arrive,
they fall right into the trap of the rebels misbehavior,
A thug jumps out as the royals reach the dock, he unsheathes a blade, one that shan't be mocked,
He lunges forth piercing the Kings chest, that royal died, as blood gushed from his breast,
That thug occupied on that measly royal, gives the Emperor and his kin time to retreat, for they do not wished to become skewed meat.
The Emperor pushes his kin into a boat, he tells he shan't be coming back,
For he shall be the savages fleshy snack,
That boat drifts away, this Emperor shall face his grey day.
This Emperor spots the rebels, he sees them marching forward, they wish to receive the head of this royal,
They charge onward, much blood is shed, this royal wishes he could just depart in his bed,
Dread fills this royal, his death made slow, in his last moments he ignores this though. He looks up at the blue sky once more, he sees a crow and a cloud, he admires this simple beauty, realizing he failed to achieve his duty,
This royal shuts his eyes and braces his end. This royal. This Emperor.

In the end, who was the ''good'' royal? Was it the Tsar? Or the Cowardly King? Or the valorous Emperor? That is for your mind to decide.
