A Kiss

A Kiss

A Poem by Benjamin L. Weekly
"

Oh my...

"

Do you remember

Our first kiss?

How the world shook

And dissolved into bliss?

No words can describe

In what ecstasy

Devolving to

Tingling

In the

Lips

Clasping

I need!

To breathe!

That moment

Took all of me

And by your breathing

You enjoyed it too

Let's share a kiss

That will break the boundaries

We made that night

In our first paradise

A kiss that...

Holds you so

Your hair

Caressed by my hand

Evolving to

Shivvering

Tight against my

Deeper

Twisting

To make you feel that

Earthquake

It tastes

Craving

But

Still more

But

Air!

A kiss that

Gives you all you ever needed

But leaves you wanting

A thousand times more

A kiss like being

Caught in a tornado

Whimpering

More!

Tossed up

Hurricane force

In your mouth

On the bed

Another kiss

And

Down below

In the gale

No pants?

Can't stop it

The door

Closing

Yelling

Oh!

Wow that was a really fun work to read! You conveyed breathlessness so so well in just a few words, and drove the pace of the poem right where you needed too. I love this stanza:
"That momentTook all of meAnd by your breathingYou enjoyed it too"
because you stayed true to your point of view through the kiss, which is something hard to do sometimes when conveying passionate scenes.
You touched on so many feelings with just single powerful words. In the final stanza you really do sweep the reader up into your actions like a tornado! This write was inspired. So well written. I'm a fan of your work and will check out more!

I likd it. Very passionate. Very sweet. (Since I am speaking to a guy, I don't want to make you mad by using a word like 'sweet') It's perfect. There, maybe that's better than sweet? Keep up the good work.
