A Poem by J.Truth
"

The comforting silence sparked a poem within me

"

The darkness of the night
The sweet essence of the wind
The soft chirping of the birds
The steady heartbeat
..putting me to sleep

The dim light of the lamp
The flickering of the candles' wick
The rustling of the leaves
The warm glow of sunrise
..waking up the world

The hint of purple in the sky
The park empty of a crowd
The fluffy white clouds
The roar of a passing airplane
..keeping every aspect awake

I wrote this at one in the morning x) The comforting silence sparked a poem within me. Listening to the quiet chirps of birds and the occasional buzzes. They're oddly soothing. And add a fresh breeze to that mix; inspiration. Hope you enjoyed!
