My love, my life,my one and true.For what reasonsdo I deserve you?My heart is weak,while yours is strong.The love you show me never changingeven when I do wrong.People say I'm desperate.That I could never truly love.But in my eyes you're like an angelsent to me from above.Your strong arms hold me tight.Protecting me when I'm alarmed.Your eyes constantly remind me,nothing can do me any harm.The words you whisper to me,time after time,wrap around my heartlike a sweet poetic rhyme.Your touch so soft,your kisses so sweet.With every breath you takeI feel like I'm being swept off my feet.A lot of times I feel likethis is all a dream.And once I wake upall I'd do is cry and scream.But then I hearthat melodic voice.Bringing me backto reality without a choice.Who am I to deservethis amazing love from the start.When deep in my soulI'd die if I ever broke your heart.But then I feel those armswrap around me so sweet and true,as you lean down and whisperthe silken ribbon of words of"I Love You."

Author's Note

I wrote this poem late at night when I had troubles getting to sleep. Before writing this poem, thoughts of me finding the right guy who truly loves me, were going through my head. There are a few guys right now who I like and I know they like me. But what I can never figure out is why. I guess this poem is just a way for me to express these feelings a little in my own way.
