Faster than the Speed of Smell

The silence leaves me too much obscured
Too much time to flip through memories.
But the words and lies I have endured
The surroundings that became part of me.

When you play your mind games it's hard to tell
It's like a drum beating out of time
You've got my mind going faster than the speed of smell
But baby, even the losers get lucky sometimes.
